Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - WWE’s Backlash pay-per-view (PPV), Evolve 85, the May 22 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown & 205 Live, NXT & ROH TV from Wednesday, Thursday's Impact Wrestling and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from May 21 - 27, 2017.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Many smarks will be needing tumblr-er deargoddunne’s new book as soon as Homer’s finished with it...

- The top four spots were dominated by the show that wrapped before our last week wrapped, with the UK title showstealer alternating spots with the heartbreaking angle that closed the night.
- Even if some smarks really didn’t like the outcome, Monday nights got their Fatal 5Way program off to a good start with a heck of a match.
- Deputy ‘Dango was there to pull the Gorgeous Gumshoe back from deep cover, and the Fashion PoPo keep collecting votes.
- Evolve wasn’t the only place Kyle O’Reilly came up short against the BRO.
- A nice week in the BotSJ helped a luchador split a point with Raw’s kendo stick-wielding Women’s champ.

Another packed week, but at least WWE gave us a breather this weekend (no such luck if you’re into the wide world of “everything else”). Consider Backlash, Raw, Smackdown, 205 Live, NXT, Impact and Evolve - then give us your favorite performances.
We’ll handle the rest.
