Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- We're seeing a lot of multi-person matches in WWE right now because the booking is "slow," according to the Observer. Things are planned to heat up in July and August.
- WWE has already made changes to the big SmackDown Live show they have planned in New Orleans on June 13 but that could simply mean holding off on the Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton WWE title match that was previously announced, or working it as a dark match.
- The Observer notes that while the women's Money in the Bank ladder match is currently planned, it's not set in stone and could be nixed before coming to fruition like last year.
- Hideo Itami is turning heel in the hopes of it refreshing his character.
- Lita is one name going around in the running to call the women's tournament with Jim Ross.
