Rumor Roundup (April 14, 2017): Superstar Shake-Up, House of Horrors match, Mauro Ranallo, more!

Bray Wyatt

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Not surpisingly, the Observer is saying many of the roster moves made in the "Superstar Shake-Up" were last minute decisions.
  • Another total non-surprise: WWE doesn't yet know what the "House of Horrors" match will look like, as they've surveyed fans on what they want it to include. That's why they haven't made mention of what it will be yet.
  • The Observer is reporting WWE is trying to come to a settlement with Mauro Ranallo that would preclude him from talking publicly about his issues within the company that have led to his exit.
  • Payback may be getting two women's matches, with Bayley likely defending the Raw women's championship against Nia Jax while Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, and Mickie James sort out who is number one contender after that.
  • Kalisto may be moving to the cruiserweight division to help give 205 Live a boost.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
