General Manager William Regal promised new championship belts would be awarded to the winners of NXT TakeOver: Orlando’s three title matches on Saturday, April 1.
The Men’s championship was the main event, so the belt that would leave with either Bobby Roode or Shinsuke Nakamura was the last one we got eyes on... and it turns out its the same design as the one Asuka left with a little earlier.
Equality is awesome, don’t you think? Now about that design...
Author’s note: Obviously, in my rush to post I missed some differences between the two titles - namely that the men’s belt is larger, and that gold and silver elements vary between the two. Still seems to me they deliberately went with a very similar look, and I can’t think why that would be other than to level the playing field in a visible, symbolic way, but feel free to disagree with me on that in the comments below.
