Rumor Roundup (Mar. 2, 2017): Harper/Wyatt, Angle, TNA returns, indies on WWE Network, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Look for Luke Harper to re-align himself with Bray Wyatt now that Randy Orton's treachery has been revealed, and Vince McMahon's decided not to elevate his position on the card.
  • In addition to the April 3rd Raw, Kurt Angle will also be on the SmackDown after WrestleMania and is expected to get “significant TV opportunities”, according to Jim Ross.
  • Expect a mix of old and new faces at tonight's Impact taping. Two names to expect are Karen Jarrett, who will be returning to TV as a regular character, and Bruce Prichard, who’ll be working backstage and on-camera.
  • One name not to expect is Alberto Del Rio. He had been scheduled for this week’s taping under John Gaburick, but he doesn't fit/is too expensive for the new Dutch Martell/Jeff Jarrett regime.
  • WWE has agreements in place to put UK indies on the Network, but a combination of factors - including Vince changing his mind - is keeping them in limbo for now.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
