Smarks put the whole world in Bray Wyatt's hands

Logo-S3

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Feb. 20 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown Live & 205 Live, Wednesday's NXT & ROH TV, Thursday's Impact Wrestling, Evolve 78 & 79 and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Feb. 19 - 25, 2017.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

I don't think the new World champ's been this happy since that time he took a hit off Taker's urn...

  • An all WWE (and you can't blame my forgetting to put TNA in the poll, because no one comment voted for any wrestlers whose checks aren't signed by a McMahon, either) was topped by one of three new champions... but the other two weren't too far behind.
  • Two already established champs from Raw - and the epic end of their friendship - gave the Eater of Worlds a run the top spot.
  • A Wyatt theme ran through much of the weekly ten, as the two guys who put him over on Tuesday and the former follower who will hopefully be coming for his new belt earned a ton of votes.
  • It took a well-placed crutch shot to put The Boss in the Standings, while Triple H's Destroyer ran in after a great promo and landed all kinds of shots on Sami Zayn.

The S3: 2016-17, Week 46

1. Bray Wyatt
2. Chris Jericho
3. Kevin Owens
4. Bayley
5. AJ Styles
6. Naomi
7. John Cena
8. Sasha Banks
9. Samoa Joe
10. Luke Harper

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

Being a backstabbing prick pays off, as the Universal champ muscles in front of the Hollywood A-Lister. His former best friend moved ahead of an idle Architect, and Nikki’s boyfriend inched in front of the Big Dog, and bumped Alexa Bliss & Cesaro out of the yearly top ten.

The S3 Performer of the Year - through the Week Ending Feb. 18

1. AJ Styles - 272.5
2. Dean Ambrose - 159
3. Kevin Owens - 113
4. The Miz - 106
5. Sasha Banks - 98.5
6. Becky Lynch - 95
7. Chris Jericho - 81.5
8. Seth Rollins - 73
9. John Cena 69.5
10. Roman Reigns - 69

Mull over another busy week - which featured action from Raw, Smackdown, 205 Live, NXT, Impact, Evolve and probably a bunch of other places besides. Then give us your favorites, and we'll crunch the numbers!
