Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV), the Feb. 13 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown Live & 205 Live, Wednesday's NXT & ROH TV, Thursday's Impact Wrestling, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Feb. 12 - 18, 2017.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Hey, Joe! Excited about the support you got in last week's Standings...
Okay, then. Please don't kill me.
- As big as a mark as I am for Triple H's new Destroyer, I was pretty bummed that he ended up passing the man who finished second in what was a back-and-forth vote... I really wanted to headline this post "It's the S3. You know what that means." Someday...
- Helping the Style Battle winner look like a million bucks and defending his FIP belt against a F'n Machine rallied a lot of FloSlam customers to support our third place finisher.
- 205 Live actually booked a scramble, and William III's owner won!
- The Guy and the Monster Among Men continued their feud on Raw, and along with the Lone Wolf's pre-Chamber win, marked a good week for WWE hosses.
- Even if they're not really working one-on-one against each other moving forward, a couple rivalries that were SmackDown staples in 2016 continue to make a mark on the S3.
