Rumor Roundup (Feb. 15, 2017): John Cena plans, Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor return, more!

USA Network

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • John Cena is expected to take time away from WWE after WrestleMania 33, according to the Observer.
  • Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt for the WWE world championship is still the plan for WrestleMania 33, and Orton saying it isn't happening is, of course, just storyline.
  • Finn Balor is still on track to return in time for WrestleMania 33 but he's unlikely to have a match on the show.
  • Naomi's injury is apparently legitimate but she's not expected to miss any time.
  • Tony Nese was cleared to return already from his foot injury and he'll be booked back at full strength going forward.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
