John Cena capturing something more rare than WWE titles - the love of internet wrestling fans

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Feb. 6 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown Live & 205 Live, Wednesday's NXT & ROH TV, Thursday's Impact Wrestling, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Feb. 5 - 11, 2017.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Somebody's excited they won...

  • We've got 11 more months to argue about it being match of the year... the WWE World title match at Royal Rumble was definitely your favorite match from Jan. 29 - Feb. 4.

  • The Rumble match itself was pretty well represented, but not as universally loved as the Faces Who The Place... the winner and 30th entrant were well behind the top two.

  • No one specified how much of their support for the two former Wyatts and the Underdog from the Underground was from the Rumble, and how much was for what they did on fallout shows, but the three of them clearly had a nice week in your books.

  • As did the #1 contender to the SmackDown Women's title, the officially crowned King of the cruiserweights and Triple H's Destroyer.

The S3: 2016-17, Week 44

1. John Cena
2. AJ Styles
3. Randy Orton
4. Roman Reigns
5. Naomi
6. Sami Zayn
7. (tie) Luke Harper
7. (tie) Braun Strowman
9. Samoa Joe
10. Neville

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

Not much happened in the Annual top ten as a result of the Rumble and its fallout. One of the PPV show-stealers padded his lead (and mathematically clinched the year); the other bumped Broken Matt Hardy to 11.

The S3 Performer of the Year - through the Week Ending Feb. 4

1. AJ Styles - 266
2. Dean Ambrose - 159
3. The Miz - 106
4. Kevin Owens - 105
5. Sasha Banks - 95.5
6. Becky Lynch - 92
7. Seth Rollins - 73
8. Chris Jericho - 72.5
9. Cesaro - 68.5
10. John Cena - 65

It was a week off from WWE pay-per-view (PPV). That doesn't mean there wasn't a lot to consider. Let us help you remember what went down on Raw, Smackdown, 205 Live, NXT, and Impact. Plus, a busy weekend on FloSlam, New Japan doing the New Beginnings thing... I can't keep up. You're probably doing better than me. So tell us all what impressed you the most over the last week, so we can make sure we check it out!

We'll count it all up and report back next Sunday.
