Rumor Roundup (Dec. 9, 2017): John Cena vs. Roman Reigns, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Nash, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • John Cena vs. Roman Reigns for the Intercontinental championship is being advertised for Madison Square Garden on Dec. 26 but it isn't expected to be anything other than a one-off for that show.
  • Dolph Ziggler has made comments recently that indicate he may be thinking of leaving WWE soon, and it's apparently a real possibility he does.
  • Though he just got surgery done on his knee, Kevin Nash is expected for the Monday Night Raw 25th Anniversary show next month.
  • Per PW Insider, there was no settlement involved in the dismissal of Marcus Bagwell and Scotty Levy's lawsuit against WWE.
  • According to the Observer, WWE has interest in Eddie Edwards for NXT.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
