WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Daniel Bryan will serve as a guest referee for a match on SmackDown’s Dec. 26 taping, but Wrestling Observer says there’s no truth to reports he’s been cleared to wrestle by WWE.
  • Becky Lynch and The Miz are expected to return to SmackDown and Raw in early January.
  • Before WWE went with The Riott Squad invasion of SmackDown, plans called for a Charlotte Flair vs. Tamina/Lana feud.
  • Laurel Van Ness (Chelsea Green) has requested her release from Impact and WWE is apparently interested, but according to Observer Radio, Impact will not let her go until she can be written out of their storylines.
  • Konnan was let go by Mexican indie The Crash for working with AroLucha.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
