During Final Battle tonight, Ring of Honor made a big announcement regarding their Women of Honor division.
With their women wrestlers present, they unveiled a women’s championship title and announced that there will be a tournament in January 2018 to crown the first champion.

Hopefully the introduction of the championship means that we’ll get to see their women’s division on television more than once every few months. The division is pretty much a YouTube exclusive.
If Ring of Honor continues to build its women’s scene, it would make a viable option for women wrestlers to get television time outside WWE. Right now, Impact is the only US promotion that features women on television regularly outside the E. ROH would make for another good option for women wrestlers.
