Rumors for the Day:

• WWE is expected to have SmackDown stars invade Raw next week before Raw stars invade SmackDown the next night.
• Per the Observer, Chris Jericho got the idea to work in New Japan against Kenny Omega from watching the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor story play out.
• It's also being said Jericho is doing this as a one-shot deal.
• There's already plenty of speculation that Jinder Mahal could win the WWE title back from AJ Styles when WWE tours India in December.
• PW Insider notes Hideo Itami is expected to be called up to the main roster "very soon" and he's headed for 205 Live, so he'll be a cruiserweight.
