Rumor Roundup (Nov. 6, 2017): Chris Jericho in NJPW, Ric Flair return, WWE releases, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Per, Chris Jericho working with NJPW has been in the works for a number of weeks. His wish to promote his upcoming cruise definitely plays a part in his decision.
  • Jericho has also said he tried to get NXT on the cruise but he was told no by WWE.
  • Ric Flair is expected to appear at the upcoming WWE Starrcade event.
  • Recently released WWE wrestlers Emma, Summer Rae, and Darren Young are expected to be paid through February, so don't expect to see them working independent dates before then.
  • PW Insider noted that Taya Valkyrie missed Bound for Glory because she could have had trouble getting back into the United States afterwards.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
