Rumor Roundup (Nov. 25, 2017): Batista return, Sami Zayn heat, WWE TV deal, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • While Batista has said he has talked to Vince McMahon recently, it's not expected he will return to WWE anytime soon.
  • The Observer notes the controversy surrounding Kevin Owens from when he was sent home from the European tour is gone now but the same isn't the case for Sami Zayn, so there may still be heat on him for whatever the issue was there.
  • The Observer is also saying a lot of "marginal talent" are nervous now because six women characters showed up this week and that could mean some subtractions are coming.
  • WWE is looking outside traditional television outlets for its next TV deal when the contract with NBCUniversal comes up, including talking to the likes of YouTube and Amazon.
  • Goldust is teasing he won't don the gold for his Starrcade match but rather work as Dustin Rhodes.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
