The much ballyhooed house show showdown between Ring of Honor (ROH) and NXT on Friday night, Nov. 17 in San Antonio turned out to mostly be about loading up fun shows to sell tickets to the locals. Which is exactly what it should have been, but folks hoping Shawn Michaels would screw over Drew McIntyre and join Undisputed ERA were disappointed nonetheless (he did Superkick Kyle O’Reilly, though).
There was one aspect of the promotional battle that exceeded expectations. Friend of Cody Rhodes, protector of Starling City and SummerSlam ‘15 veteran Stephen Amell not only made an appearance for ROH, the Arrow star went all in.
First, he officially joined Bullet Club with the obligatory Cracker Barrel porch pic:

...but before the night was through, the main event morphed into an eight-man tag which pitted Amell and The Elite against The Addiction, Flip Gordon and Scorpio Sky. The Canadian started out doing the forbidden “Too Sweet” with Rhodes...
... and ended up diving from the top rope onto a mass of people, being slammed off the apron through a table on the floor(!) and helping to finish things for BC with an IndyTaker!
