Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.
Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.
Rumors for the Day:
- Raw is expected to come out ahead in the match-ups at Survivor Series, with SmackDown likely taking the men's elimination match but Raw taking the women's elimination match.
- According to James McKenna on Wrestling Sheet Radio, at one point WWE had the idea of doing Charlotte vs. James Ellsworth for the women's championship at WrestleMania.
- What's more, they were apparently going to get there by having Ellsworth become transgender.
- AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura could very well already be in the plans for WrestleMania 34.
- Scott Dawson could be back before the end of the year, per the Observer.
