Rumor Roundup (Oct. 5, 2017): Cena and Lesnar plans for Survivor Series, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, more!

WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • John Cena is no longer advertised for Survivor Series. The late December holiday house shows are expected to be his next WWE dates now.
  • Brock Lesnar is now officially booked for the PPV in Houston, and is expected to work at least one Raw this month to start setting up his match there.
  • The reason AJ Styles hasn’t been wrestling on SmackDown, according to Wrestling Observer, is because he’s been held for dark matches in order to get crowds to stick around through 205 Live.
  • Kalisto vs. Enzo Amore is the direction the cruiserweight title scene will take at TLC.
  • Jeff Hardy will have a second shoulder surgery next week, according to PWInsider. The one this week only dealt with the rotator cuff, so he still needs work done on the labrum.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
