Rumor Roundup (Oct. 23, 2017): Kurt Angle’s future, Nia Jax absence, Survivor Series plans, more!

WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • While Kurt Angle will never be full-time, look for more matches from him in the future, probably at “Big 4” PPVs.
  • Nia Jax may be out with a bad back, per PWInsider.
  • A rematch of Finn Balor vs. AJ Styles could be one of the Raw vs. SmackDown matches planned for Survivor Series.
  • If WWE is still interested in a Four Horsewomen feud, it won’t be happening at Survivor Series. They may have cooled on the idea altogether, instead focusing on Ronda Rousey as a solo act.
  • Seems like a long shot, but it’s out there... ProWrestling.com says they’ve heard that New Japan is interested in getting Chris Jericho to face Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
