Less than a week after receiving a cease and desist from WWE over use of the “Too Sweet” hand gesture and catch phrase, The Young Bucks are ready to move on.
As you can see in the newest episode of Being The Elite (embedded and queued up to the appropriate spot above), Matt and Nick Jackson are raising the white flag in this battle with WWE and re-focusing on doing what they do best, tag team wrestling:
“It’s finally just coming to me. Who are we kidding, Nick? We’re just two men. They’re a global, billion dollar company. We’ve been looking at this thing the whole wrong way. This has been a fight we can never win, this has been a battle we could never win - this has been a war we can never win. I mean who are we kidding?
But all along, our entire careers, we haven’t needed these silly catchphrases or stupid hand gestures.
This entire time, we’ve been the best tag team in the world... without any of those things!”
