Take that, Starrcade!

WWE is bringing back the WCW/Jim Crockett Promotions brand Starrcade for their Nov. 25 house show in Greensboro, North Carolina. The move is reportedly to help sell tickets on a holiday weekend, and with the big annual independent wrestling event WrestleCade less than an hour away in Winston-Salem.

WrestleCade is a weekend-long series of matches, signings and more, and the Saturday AML Wrestling card which will compete with Starrcade is taking shape. Now, technically, the two shows don’t overlap competely, but with 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM belltimes, fans probably need to pick one or the other.

A decision made a little more difficult (or at least it would be for me if I was gonna be in the Carolinas for the holiday) by this announced main event:

Seriously, Double-J vs. THE BIG GUY is just too weird to pass up. And, irony aside, another match being offered up by AML/Wrestlecade really does sound freaking amazing:

Does that top WWE’s Charlotte Flair/Natalya steel cage showdown and Jinder Mahal vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (provided WWE doesn’t swap out that last one for something else) rematch?

Vote with your wallet. Starrcade tickets are on sale here, Saturday night Wrestlecade ones here.
