Rumor Roundup (Oct. 13, 2017): Jinder Mahal injury, Cruiserweight title plans, Asuka debut, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Jinder Mahal is apparently dealing with a shoulder injury.
  • The plan right now is to get the cruiserweight title back on Enzo Amore, per the Observer, because the show is still going to be built around him.
  • It was planned all along that Asuka would debut against Emma, with the idea they can have a great match together on PPV and it will put Asuka over strong as her first main roster match.
  • There's increasing talk that Ricochet is coming to WWE sooner rather than later.
  • Per the Observer, the owners of Lucha Underground are pitching the show to other networks outside of El Rey with the hope of getting another station to run it with the same pay to produce it like usual.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
