WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • After Survivor Series (and one or both men being involved in a Team Shane vs. Team Owens match), AJ Styles is being considered as the next challenger for Jinder Mahal’s WWE title.
  • Bray Wyatt was not on this weekend’s house show circuit, which prompted some injury speculation, but Wrestling Observer says that’s not the case. It’s more likely he’s being kept under wraps until the in-ring reveal of the Sister Abigail gimmick.
  • PWInsider reports Bradley Cooper is still considering taking the role of Vince McMahon in the Pandemonium biopic, but the actor is awaiting a revised script before signing on.
  • According to UFC President Dana White, Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract doesn’t expire until August of 2018.
  • Impact Wrestling is said to be considering running future TV tapings in major markets like New York, Chicago and Philadelphia.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
