Today’s NXT taping (check out full details here) were chugging along without much in the way of surprises... until the very end. After a tag match that seemed obviously set to be the dark match to end the taping, a familiar face came out from behind the curtain, and, well, let’s let NXT’s officially released image do the talking...
Hero (billed once again as Kassius Ohno) came out and issued a challenge to the champion by way of patting his title belt and showing him his knockout elbow as a threat before leaving. It’s unclear as to when the segment might air, having happened after the presumed dark match, but I’d bet on a “Please sign Cedric!” style cut back at the end of an episode.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a signing or a return without Mr. Hs doing his thing...

There you have it, folks
The rumors are true, Chris Hero has returned to WWE after a little over three years away. Anybody as salty as I am about the seeming name reversion or are you just happy to see him, Cagesiders?
