Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of Lucha Underground in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on El Rey Network.

Here, we’ll keep you up on of all the happenings in Boyle Heights here while the show airs. Later, you’ll get a regular reactions post. In addition to a way for folks to keep up, this space is for you to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down at The Temple - during the initial broadcast!

Alright, folks, let's Lucha!

Mil Muertes is kneeling, asking how Puma is alive. Catrina comes to tell him it was Vampiro, who toys with dark magic. So if he wants to get to Puma, he has to go through Vamp.

Catrina is then walking down the hallway when Jeremiah Crane comes up and reminds her he beat Mil last week... beat the man she love. She then tells him Mil isn’t the one she loves and leaves.

Mariposa vs. Sexy Star

Sexy Star comes out hot, taking the fight to Mariposa immediately. She tosses her opponent by the pigtails and then hits a rana, following up with a suicide dive. The fight continues on the floor.

Mariposa is able to reverse Sexy and tosses her against the wall of the office to even things up shortly. She reverses a move, grabs Sexy by both legs, and then starts continually knock her body into the announce table.

Back in the ring, Mariposa sets up the Butterfly Effect... but Mariposa slid out and is able to land a kick into the face of a charging Mariposa. This allows her get back on the advantage.

Mariposa is able to his a Samoan Drop and attempt a couple covers unsuccessfully. She follows up with a modified Indian Deathlock as she kicks Sexy in the head with her free leg.

Mariposa climbs to the top but misses a moonsault and Sexy Star comes back with a drop kick. Mariposa fights back and sets up for a superplex to Sexy but Sexy fights her off, pushing her to the mat.... and follows up with a double stomp. 1-2-3!

Sexy Star leaves and Mariposa is in the ring recovering. Marty the Moth comes into attend to her... BUT DELIVERS A CHOKESLAM TO HIS OWN SISTER!


Maxcarita Sagrada is lifting backstage when the White Rabbit tribe interrupt. Paul London comes in and says “We found you. The white rabbit” and they all bow to him. London says they found him, that he’s their leader... their spiritual god. He ask him to join them at ring side, but he tells them they’re crazy and leave.

The Rabbit Tribe vs. the Kobra Tribe in a trios match

They have Drago on a chain leash lead to the ring by Kobra Moon. She then makes Drago fight in her stead.

Starts with Pendar and Mala Surete. The other 2 members of the Rabbits come in for a triple punch and the bodysuit man is the rabbit that remains. He receives a slam from Pendar, who force tags Drago. There’s a brief double team before Pendar retreats to the apron.

Soon, Drago is in the middle of the ring with all three of the Rabbits dancing around him. Drago tags in the bigger lizard man (Vibora). He delivers a double choke slam to two of the rabbits and then hits a big boot to London. He then tags in Pendar who starts working on Paul.

Paul is in peril and even Kobra gets some cheap licks in when the ref is distracted.

London finally fights back and tags out. Meanwhile Drago is tagged in and two of the rabbits are working on him. Saltador holds Drago and Mala Suerte goes for a drop kick but Drago moves the he nails his partner. Drago then tags out to Pendar. Vibora hits a boot of doom and Pendar hits a powerbomb.

London starts working on Vibora, but he eats a Tombstone instead. Kobra then instructs Drago to finish it, who hits a vicious neckbreaker on Saltador (the legal man) for the 1-2-3.

The Kobra Tribe wins

At the end of the match, Drago has the chain reattached to him... but here come Fenix and Aerostar! The superfriends control the lizards as Drago can only watch, being trained up. Kobra unleashes Drago who doesn’t seem to know who Fenix and Aerostar are.


Backstage, Sexy Star wishes Mack good luck for tonight. Mack says he doesn’t want her ringside because he can take care of Mundo on his own. She’s cool with that.

Dario is back in the locker room when he comes across the Mack. Dario tells Mack tonight is not for the title but it’s a warm up. But the winner will pick the stip for the title match.

Johnny Mundo vs. Willie Mack in a non-title match

Winner gets to pick the stipulation for their title match.

Mack knocks Johnny down early with a running kick for a nearfall. But Mundo get the eye poke and starts delivering kicks to the Mack. He ends up slapping Mack and then hits the outside of the ring to flip the big man off.

But Willie follows him out and suplexes Mundo on the mat. Johnny hides under the ring for a bit and returns when he has a moment to toss Mack into the guardrail and then tosses him back into the ring for a 2 count.

Mack fights back with some strikes and then a slam... and then a People’s Elbow (with a dab). This nets him a 2 count. Mack later hits a Samoan Drop and a standing moonsault for another 2 count. Mack seems to have control at this point in the match.

After a lung blower from hanging on the middle rope, Mundo seems to be struggling. Mack goes for the Stunner but Mundo pushes him into the ref. Mundo goes for a springboard but it’s reversed in to a Sit Down Powerbomb. But the ref is out of place because of the bump and by the time he gets it, Mundo can kick out.

Here comes the Worldwide Underground, jumping on the apron and distracting Mack. Mundo hits a low blow when the ref is dealing with the other two. He rolls up the Mack for the 1-2-3.

After the match, PJ Black and Jack Evans lay some hits into Mack. Johnny soon joins them. Mundo grabs the mic and tells Mack that he sucks... that he doesn’t deserve to be in the same ring as him. He chooses an All Night Long match! (An Iron Man)

Suddently Mil Muertes and Catrina are on the top of the stairs! The Underground high tail it. But they don’t go to the ring... HE RUNS INTO VAMPIRO AND STARTS BEATING HIM DOWN! HE TOSSES VAMPIRO INTO THE RING AND LAYS THE BOOTS INTO HIM! AND HERE’S PUMA!

Vampiro, while in the set up for the Flatliner, orders Puma not to enter the ring before receiving the move.
