Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class’ female representative, according to PWInsider, will be Beth Phoenix.
  • Triple H was never planned for Raw, but his Tweet and quote to ESPN after the UK Championship Tournament were designed to raise interest for his eventual return to television.
  • Scottish promotion ICW is said to be close to a deal to be included on WWE Network. PWInsider says the announcement should come soon, with details like whether shows will air live still being ironed out.
  • The WWE UK Championship will likely be defended at ICW events, and possibly Britain’s Progress and Ireland’s OTT too, while Triple H & co. get a UK show set-up.
  • Darren Young may have been injured at last night’s Main Event taping. His match against Epico was stopped after he appeared to hurt his arm on an apron bump.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
