Neville returns to save WWE's cruiserweights - at least in Smarks' eyes

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Dec. 26 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown Live 205 Live, Wednesday's Lucha UndergroundNXT ROH TV, Thursday's TNA Impact, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Dec. 25 - 31, 2016.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

The heel turn that save Christmas...

... and maybe the Cruiserweight division?

  • Gravity may have forgotten him, but you didn't. Returning with an edge - and being on our screens three nights in a row - helped the "King of the Cruiserweight" pick up ten points in his first Standings appearance this "year".
  • La Luchadora (back when we knew who was under the mask) helped the women of WWE to another big week in the S3, with the Queen of Harts' wicked reveal also representing for Team Blue, and the end of one of 2016's best feuds... and the first signs of what's next for the Boss & the Nature Girl... charting well for Raw.
  • Some of SmackDown's top male stars earned votes for different reasons: the World champ for swatting a pest, the Intercontinental titleholder for getting his teeth deservingly rattled by an interviewer, and the Lone Wolf got a lone point for rising into the main event.
  • Fill in the blanks on Big___ Mc________ and laugh as much as you want, we'll always take manhandling Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins seriously.
  • He's only one half of the tag champs, but we Smarks are always gonna pay tribute to the King of Swing.
