SmackDown Live ratings (Sept. 6, 2016): Viewers lowest since brand split

WWE.com

It’s still too early to tell if the brand split has been a success for WWE, but viewership for SmackDown Live has certainly improved from the numbers it was doing before going live on Tuesday nights. That said, the show fell to its lowest total this week during that time, garnering 2.45 million viewers.

That’s down big from last week’s 2.83 million, the highest total since the WWE Draft show back on July 19.

The viewership trend since that episode:

July 26 - 2.74 million
Aug. 2 - 2.68 million
Aug. 9 - 2.45 million
Aug. 16 - 2.47 million
Aug. 23 - 2.71 million
Aug. 30 - 2.83 million
Sept. 6 - 2.45 million

This week’s episode did just slightly less than that Aug. 9 edition. It’s worth noting, as pointed out at the Observer, that when Monday Night Raw does well SmackDown Live seems to follow suit.
