Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network.
Check out our Wednesday morning preview post to get caught up on what's been happening, and what we expect this week.
We'll post match results here, and we will also have our regular reactions post later. In the meantime, and most importantly, this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the best show WWE produces on a weekly basis - during its initial broadcast!
NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcasts (including here), but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.
Enjoy the show!
- TM61 vs. Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari via pinfall (Nick Miller on Daivari) after Thunder Valley
- Tom Phillips interviews Women's champion Asuka. She talks about the crowd motivating her, Bayley being the heart of NXT who fought hard, but says she fought harder. She says she's cleaned out the division, sends a message to her Japanese fans and warns that no one is ready to face Asuka.
- Backstage, Dascha Fuentes talks to Steve Cutler. He says he doesn't think Shinsuke Nakamura's had to sacrifice like he has. He doesn't care if people like, love or hate him, but you'll damn sure respect him.
- Ember Moon def. Leah Von via pinfall following whatever they're gonna call the O-Face
- Charly Caruso wants to know how No Way Jose feels about being "disrespected" by Bobby Roode last week. He says no way is he going to be talked to that way.
- Hype video for The Revival leads to Tommaso Ciampa getting checked out by a trainer. Johnny Gargano comes out to say William Regal wants them to work a tag match on next week's Cruiserweight Classic live finale. Ciampa is cleared so DIY is in, and then they're coming for Dash & Dawson's tag titles.
- Austin Aries def. Andrade "Cien" Almas via submission with Last Chancery
- No Way Jose vs. Bobby Roode is announced for next week, another Sanity teaser and Corey Graves shuts Tom up to tell us Samoa Joe is joining he & Tom at the desk for the main event
- Joe tells Todd ("that's his name, right?" he asks Graves, who says "we'll go with that") he looked past Nakamura in Brooklyn and made some mistakes which cost him. Now Shinsuke's the champ and he respects that.
- Shinsuke Nakamura def. Steve Cutler via pinfall following Kinshasa
- Joe, who's been saying all the right (babyface-ish) things, glares at the champ. Nak smiles back, and then Joe leaves while he celebrates
