Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows won their SummerSlam match against The New Day, but only because Big E recovered from the case of Ringpostitis the “Doctors” gave him and triggered the DQ when he ran in to save honorary New Day member Jon Stewart from the same ailment with which he’d been sidelined.
Can the ex-Club duo finally end Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods & E’s historic run with the tag straps?
We’ll find out in about three weeks.
The tag title match joins Kevin Owens first WWE Universal title defense against Seth Rollins on the Clash of Champions card.
