Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Aug. 29 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown Live, Wednesday's WWE NXT, the Cruiserweight Classic and ROH TV, Thursday's TNA Impact, Chikara's King of Trios (Nights One & Two) and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Aug. 28 - Sept 3, 2016.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
What up, haters?
- He didn't have as many first place votes as the guy who finished second, but he was on nearly everyone's ballot and didn't split points with the "coward" he shared his big moment with during the week under consideration.
- SmackDown Live's new #1 contender, on the other hand, shared a spot on many ballots with his "Big Match" SummerSlam opponent.
- Raw's newest female Superstar lead a heathy contingent of ladies, with her dear friend/bitter rival and another pal who just went rogue on a returning Total Diva all rounding out the top ten.
- The hottest free agent found a tag partner and a whole lot more support from your Smarks.
- Two guys who worked damn hard to get to WWE, one with a real injury and one with a storyline one, represented in the six and seven spots.
