Christopher Daniels sells the hell out of Ring of Honor’s PPV with this Ladder War promo

It doesn’t measure up to their Kevin Steen/El Generico hype videos, or even the better Jay Briscoe joints, but Ring of Honor (ROH) World tag champ Christopher Daniels does a great job raising the stakes for he and his Addiction partner Frankie Kazarians’ title defense in Ladder War 6 against the Young Bucks and Motor City Machine Guns tonight at All-Star Extravaganza VIII on pay-per-view (PPV).

I haven’t been the biggest fan of the Addiction’s long run with the straps (or ROH booking in general), but this is a great piece of business, with the veteran of more than two decades in the business justifying their reign and everything they’ve done to keep the belts:

How tight do you think your grip becomes when you believe that if you let something go, you’ll never hold it again?

I’ve been a father for 13 years. I’ve been a husband for 23 years. All the things that I have, and if I woke up tomorrow and it was all gone, and the only thing that I had left was this [points to belt]? I’d be fine with that. Because the truth is, I’m a horrible husband. I’m a terrible father. The only thing that I was ever good at was professional wrestling. This is the most important thing I’ve ever held. I’ve measure my life with this. And a life without this isn’t a life that I’m interested in.

If you’re sold, you can order the show here. Or stick around and get results with your fellow Cagesiders as they come in tonight (Sept. 30).
