Luke Harper getting closer to WWE return

Luke Harper

Back in May, Luke Harper said he hoped to return from the knee injury that has kept him sidelined since March as early as August but (hopefully) September at the latest. He missed the former but the latter could very well come true.

That’s because PW Insider is reporting Harper will be going to the WWE Performance Center to see how his knee is holding. He could be cleared after testing and a return to the ring would presumably follow soon after.

That raises the question of where exactly he’ll end up. When WWE released a list of the 10 hottest free agents after the draft in July, Harper was excluded, something he called a “slap in the face.”

The Wyatt Family has disbanded, with Bray Wyatt working a singles program with Randy Orton on SmackDown Live, Erick Rowan wondering around aimlessly (and maybe killing people), also on SmackDown Live, and Braun Strowman crushing poor souls on Monday Night Raw. Where Harper will fit in is anyone’s guess but we’ll all be better off once he’s back on our television screens.

Soon.
