Pequeños insultos (a Lucha Underground preview)

While Lucha Underground steadfastly refuses to give fans what they want - let’s call it “The Gift of Pentagon” - the dark assassin’s presence looms over one of the matches we know we have on tap for the fourth episode of season three.

Rey Mysterio has a choice to make when he dons the stripes to referee his protege’s match against Chavo Guerrero. Both Chavito and El Dragon Azteca want a piece of Pentagon Dark, seeing as he broke both of their arms at different points last season. Sensei Rey’s strategy is to let the man of Cero Miedo be taken out by him many other enemies, like Vampiro, Mil Muertes, Matanza, etc, etc.

That dastardly Dario Cueto offered the winner of Azteca/Guerrero a shot at Pentagon... so you see Mysterio’s dilemma.

Meanwhile, the former Trios champs could only get on the same page about one thing last week, and that was that they like putting the boots to the current Trios champs. Even with Jack Evans throwing a tantrum, Worldwide Underground outnumbers Fenix, Drago & Aero Star, so they’ll be bringing another star, the Gift of the Gods champion Sexy Star, to their Atomicos match tonight!

Plus, we’ll see if Prince Puma is considering joining Team Vampiro when he makes his season three in-ring debut tonight. Maybe we’ll learn more about the LAPD’s investigation into our nose candy-loving El Jefe, or what the Ultimate Opportunity he has in mind for the winner of the best-of-five series between Cage and Texano (I hope it’s to make them team up).

We might even find out how Son of Havoc & Mascarita Sagrada’s pizza snacks were!

Find out at 8PM Eastern tonight, True Believers!
