After a best-of-seven series (and a couple of pre-season matches, to boot), many fans expected a definitive winner and loser from the Cesaro/Sheamus rivalry.
At Clash of Champions on Sunday, Sept. 25, they got a heck of a match - but also a “no contest” finish which leaves us collectively hanging on not only who is the better man, but also the “championship opportunity” which was promised to the winner by Raw General Manager Mick Foley.
Well, Mrs. Foley’s baby boy hears your complaints, and he has three words for ya:
Anyone claiming to be a wrestling fan, complaining about the finish of @WWESheamus @WWECesaro needs to take a moment to kiss my arse.

Personally, while I’m bummed we didn’t get a decisive finish, it’s more in the way the Swiss Superman and Celtic Warrior were - I want to see them fight some more. I’m confident we’ll get that (probably after confirming Cesaro’s spine is intact), so I’m willing to let the story play out.
Unless this is part of turning Mick into a less sympathetic figure, I’m not crazy about the “claiming to be a wrestling fan” line, though. For me, it skates too close to the “you’re watching it wrong” line which will cause me to walk away from a debate about any form of entertainment.
But, it is difficult to explain why you think a finish like the one we got for Cesaro & Sheamus in Indianapolis was good in 140 characters or less, so hopefully Foley expounds on his hot take as the rest of the story plays out tonight on Raw.
