Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Sept. 19 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown Live, Wednesday's Lucha Underground, WWE NXT, and ROH TV, Thursday's TNA Impact and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Sept 18 - 24, 2016.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Did you like how it looked like maybe KO or Ambrose would close the gap on AJ in our yearly Standings?
WWE World champ, pardners.
- Not sure if it's ever happened before, but our top five from last week are all champions in WWE - and four of them were just crowned during the week under consideration. Plus - three of those are first time champions in the 'E!
- The fifth place guy has won many titles- including the one that preceded the one AJ now holds - as he is awesome.
- In sixth place is a man who lost to the Phenomenal One, but continues to impress when he's not doing prop comedy.
- Our championship streak ends - pretty definitively - with a chinless wonder. There are some EVOLVE fans who are probably pissed about that, bro.
- Rounding out the week were two guys the new Cruiserweight king defeated in the CWC finale, and a man whose best friend is a drone.

Other than the lead padding at the top, Beulah's current-right-now husband makes a nice move, and the top five is as close as a double wide!

The past seven days not only dropped one Wednesday night show from consideration, but represented a rare pay-per-view (PPV) free week. Should make catching up on the pertinent shows like Raw, Smackdown, Lucha Underground, NXT, Impact or whatever else you streamed a little easier.
So catch up, and then let us know what whet your whistle, cowpokes!
