Last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, up against the opening of the NFL season and Monday Night Football on ESPN, drew 2.68 million viewers. This week, even against a game that drew lesser numbers than last week, viewership totals remained the same at 2.68 million.
The hourly breakdown wasn’t as bad:
Hour one: 2.73 million
Hour two: 2.69 million
Hour three: 2.63 million
It looks like these are the numbers we can expect during football season. That said, WWE is surely bracing for its worst number in many years, and perhaps ever, when it goes up against both football and the first Presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. It will be the fallout show from the Clash of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) but that may not make much of a difference.
Stay tuned.
