It’s been about four and a half months since Tamina Snuka underwent surgery to repair ligament damage in her knee.
The announcement kind of came out of nowhere, so it’s fitting her first rehabilitation update should follow suit. In the below Instagram video, the second-generation Superstar says she’s been working out the knee in Miami and is on her way back to WWE.
Tamina was undrafted when Raw and SmackDown picked their distinct rosters, but a lot of fans are interpreting her postscript as teasing a feud with Raw’s Nia Jax. That’s probably just wishful thinking on Snuka’s part, honestly, but that is one angle WWE could go.
Her frequent faction-mate Naomi is on the SmackDown brand, so that would be another.
Finding that out, along with what place Tamina has in this “Women’s Evolution”, brand split, “new era” world, is probably still at least a couple months away, however.
