Emma returns to WWE at Louisville house show

She’s back!

Just yesterday, word was making the rounds that Emma, who has been out of action since May after undergoing back surgery, would be returning to WWE television soon. Tonight (Sept. 16, 2016) in Louisville, Kentucky, she appeared at a house show as a special guest referee.

This was a Monday Night Raw branded show. The six-woman tag team match she officiated saw Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Alicia Fox team up against Charlotte, Dana Brooke, and Nia Jax.

One would think this means she’s going to be joining the red team upon her return to TV, which could be as early as next week. That would certainly give Raw a ton of depth in its women’s division, as Emma could be plugged in as a main event level title challenger at any time.

She’s also a strong heel who adds balance to the top.
