Jack Swagger is now a SmackDown talent

WWE Twitter

Last night on WWE Raw, it was mentioned after Jack Swagger lost to Jinder Mahal that the Real American was going to be a free agent soon. Tonight (Sept. 13, 2016), on SmackDown emanating from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that proved to be true when it was revealed that Jack Swagger signed with SmackDown.

He revealed this after standing face to face with Baron Corbin, who had just attacked Apollo Crews prior to their scheduled match. Corbin didn’t stay in the ring, not because he was intimidated, but because he probably just didn’t care.

He wasn’t alone as the crowd was pretty silent through his promo until they got the cue to say “We the people!”

Even so, the brand split has given unused talent a chance to try to flourish and at least Jack Swagger is getting a chance to try to reinvent himself again.
