Vince McMahon injured, gets surgery but won’t miss any time at WWE

WWE.com ran the following report just a short time ago:

WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon sustained an injury while training, requiring surgery, WWE.com has learned. The Chairman will be back in the office at WWE Headquarters on Wednesday, as usual.

It’s worth noting they didn’t make mention of what exactly the injury was, and we always have to consider the possibility that this is a set up for some sort of angle on television. After all, why bother to report on the injury at all if it won’t come into play on TV in some way?

Unless, of course, they just wanted us to know that Vince McMahon is a machine who won’t miss any work time despite an injury that required surgery. No word on if he’s at Monday Night Raw tonight or will be at SmackDown Live tomorrow night.
