Conor McGregor says he meant no disrespect to WWE fans, but I think MVP meant a little in his response to the UFC star

In promoting his upcoming rematch with Nate Diaz for UFC 202, UFC Featherweight champ Conor McGregor responded to a question about working in WWE in a way that got fans of mixed martial arts, pro wrestling and everyone in between talking.

The Notorious One got on Twitter in the early hours of Sunday morning for a message that both clarifies and doubles down on his remarks, where he said Brock Lesnar was on steroids, couldn’t remember CM Punk’s name (either of them) and called everyone involved in WWE not named McMahon, Levesque or Johnson a p*ssy:

Whether or not he ever works for Vince and company, McGregor is doing good pro wrestling heel work - as he pretty much always does.

One wrestler who’s not waiting for Conor’s WWE debut before chiming in is Montel Vontavious Porter, who responded to the Irishman’s Tweet with a question that ties back into his loss at UFC 196:

No response from McGregor as of yet, but - if MVP could ever work something out with WWE - we may have a WrestleMania moment in the making.
