Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the Aug. 1 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown Live, Wednesday's WWE NXT, the Cruiserweight Classic and ROH TV, Thursday's TNA Impact, this week's New Japan shows and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from July 31 - Aug. 6, 2016.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Hey, you two... where'd the new Women's champ finish in last week's S3?
- The Boss 'n' Hug Connection represented well - mostly the former, via her legendary performance opposite the Nature Girl, who finished a couple spots behind the Legit One... while Bayles rode her epic pop at Battleground to seventh.
- Raw's new #1 contender gave The Boss a run for her money at the top, while SmackDown Live's finished after a group of guys who rocked the pay-per-view (PPV).
- For some of the voting, it looked like the last big show of the 'Old Era' would be forgotten by voters, but Smarks could never forget their forever fighting faves... or the Lunatic they didn't think would leave DC with the WWE title.
- And they had props for the humbled Guy who did the job for the Irishman and Nasty 'Nnati's favorite son while delivering a couple more of the great performances that have marked his controversial year.
- Even in last week's 100% WWE top ten, you didn't forget the hottest free agent is sports entertainment.

Another off week for the guy with the Phenomenal lead, while there's some movement down the charts where a Lunatic moved past his long-running rival, the Likeable One moves up a few slots and the Boss pushes the Machine right out of the top ten.

Enjoy a relatively slow week for this crazy Summer - you only have to think about New Japan, Raw, Smackdown, NXT, CWC and Impact (or whatever else you found a way to stream over the last seven days) - then give us your faves... for whatever reason you decide.
