Rudo Radio Episode 56: RAW vs. SmackDown and the State of NXT

This week’s episodes of WWE television saw SmackDown in the lead, but don’t forget that NXT is still an important brand to watch.

Welcome to another episode of Rudo Radio with Nick Bond and Marc Normandin (hey, that’s me!) This week, we take a look at RAW and SmackDown and admit that the blue brand might have done a “regular” episode better than Monday’s show, even if RAW got the big reveal right a week ago. We also talk up NXT’s changing landscape post-draft, and how it seems to be working just fine as a developmental space even with recent main roster poaching.

As a reminder, we changed the format so that we’re focusing heavily on a few of our favorite (and least favorite) things from both RAW and SmackDown, rather than going blow-by-blow with the entire episode, then opening things up to something of a topic of the week. We hope you like what we think is a tighter, more listenable format in this new era — excuse me, New Era — of WWE programming.

You can rate, review, and subscribe to us on iTunes — in fact, we’d really appreciate it. You can also leave us questions to answer in next week’s episode in the comments here at Cageside Seats, or by tweeting at either Nick Bond (@THEN1CKSTER) or myself (@Marc_Normandin).
