Rumors for the Day:

• It's expected that WWE will be running more shoot style angles like the Brock Lesnar-Randy Orton match at SummerSlam and the Miz-Daniel Bryan confrontation on Talking Smack.

• The Observer notes that if Nikki Bella hadn't been cleared to return, Bayley may very well have ended up on SmackDown Live instead of Raw.

• Speaking of Nikki, the reason she's on SmackDown Live is both to bolster the roster and because that's the brand John Cena is on.

• Sticking with Nikki, her return is apparently the biggest reason the first Cesaro vs. Sheamus match in their best-of-7 series was moved to the pre-show.

• The belief is Eric Young has signed with WWE and will be coming to NXT soon.
