Brock Lesnar fined $500 for opening a new hole in Randy Orton’s dome piece at SummerSlam

After destroying Randy Orton and opening a new hole in his skull at SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar gave Shane McMahon an F-5 when the SmackDown Live Commissioner rushed out to check on his superstar. The next night on Raw, Stephanie McMahon promised The Beast would face disciplinary measures for his actions.

On the SmackDown Live pre-show this evening, Scott Stanford announced Lesnar’s punishment: a $500 fine or, $50 for every staple needed to close Orton’s head wound.

This seems to make clear the continuation of this story is simply to shift the focus back to the McMahon family war while Lesnar hangs out at home waiting for WWE to call for his next match, which may not be for a few months, if not next year.

It’s been a hell of a few days for Brock, who beat down Orton, F-5’ed Shane O’Mac, got into a backstage altercation with Chris Jericho, and was suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

What’s a work and what’s a shoot? Who even knows anymore, right?
