The Dudley Boyz spent yesterday saying they were headed for Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn to say goodbye to WWE and all its fans. Considering this is professional wrestling it felt like a set up for an angle.
It was not.
Indeed, the two cut a promo saying goodbye, took a beatdown from Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows to put them over, then left like so:
PW Insider is now reporting they were greeted backstage by the entire locker room, who gave them a standing ovation as a thank you on the way out. That new deal they reportedly signed with the company just last month? It never fully went through, apparently, and the two sides mutually decided to part ways.
Bubba gets the last word:
Our work here is done. THANK YOU to @WWE @WWEUniverse and "the boys". Was our pleasure to see all of you again. See ya down the road. #RAW

So long, Dudley Boyz.
