The Rock is a fan of Bobby Roode’s 15 year journey to the top of WWE NXT

Somehow, it seems Bobby Roode and Matt Hardy are two of the hottest acts in wrestling.

In the case of the former, a lot of it has to do with a great theme song from the WWE music team of CFO$. But a lot of hard work has gone into Roode even being in the right spot for his “Glorious” NXT launch.

A late night Tweet showing the journey of a young Robert Roode, once an extra on WWE television, to now, after his entrance was one of the more talked about elements of TakeOver: Brooklyn II, shows just how far he’s come over the course of 15 years.

The Tweet caught the eye of one of sports and entertainments most vocal supporters of hard work, who reTweeted it along with an encouraging message for Roode:

The former TNA World champ acknowledged the gesture from the Hollywood titan, and they bonded over a shared love of breakfast carbs:
