Somehow, it seems Bobby Roode and Matt Hardy are two of the hottest acts in wrestling.
In the case of the former, a lot of it has to do with a great theme song from the WWE music team of CFO$. But a lot of hard work has gone into Roode even being in the right spot for his “Glorious” NXT launch.
A late night Tweet showing the journey of a young Robert Roode, once an extra on WWE television, to now, after his entrance was one of the more talked about elements of TakeOver: Brooklyn II, shows just how far he’s come over the course of 15 years.

The Tweet caught the eye of one of sports and entertainments most vocal supporters of hard work, who reTweeted it along with an encouraging message for Roode:
Such a cool post. Some 15yrs later. Very happy for you my friend. Be the hardest worker in the room. @WWENXT @WWE https://t.co/mdC4iLdgzs

The former TNA World champ acknowledged the gesture from the Hollywood titan, and they bonded over a shared love of breakfast carbs:
@TheRock thank you, and you know I will.....Celebrated with pancakes this morning! I know you would approve! https://t.co/4Dx0cJNf7K
