During Sat., Aug. 20’s TakeOver: Brooklyn II live special on WWE Network, NXT provided details about shows they’d teased during the main roster’s recent tour of Oceania - NXT is headed to Australia & New Zealand in December of 2016!
Dates and locations are as follows:
New Zealand:
- December 5: Auckland, The Trusts Arena
- December 6: Wellington, TBS Bank Arena
Australia:
- December 8: Melbourne, Margaret Court Arena
- December 10: Newcastle, Newcastle Entertainment Centre
- December 11: Gold Coast, Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Center
- December 13: Sydney, Qudos Bank Arena
- December 14: Canberra, AIS Arena
- December 15: Perth, HBF Arena
There’s no mention of a TakeOver being part of the tour, but... hope springs eternal, and last December’s London special gives especially the Aussie fans historical precedent for optimism.
Tickets go on sale Sept. 5, so expect more news as we approach that date.
