Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.
We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.
Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - the finals of New Japan's G1 Climax, the Aug. 15 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown Live, Wednesday's WWE NXT, the Cruiserweight Classic and ROH TV, Thursday's TNA Impact, Ring of Honor's Death Before Dishonor XIV, EVOLVE 66 - 67, NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Aug. 14 - 20, 2016.
Make YOUR mark, smarks!
Unlike in the CWC, we can raise both their hands...
Well, kind of.
- Triple H's tournament for sub-205 pounders continues to take our Standings by storm. The second round matches during the week under consideration produced the top three finishers, and a man who finished a few points behind the WWE champ in sixth.
- Just ahead of SmackDown's top guy? Just the hottest free agent in sports entertainment.
- A superhero who came up short in his quest for the U.S. title came in just behind the last of the CWC crop, and slightly ahead of a guy who had a great match against Naito in the G1 (but an even better end to that tournament - which you can vote for in this jam-packed crazy week).
- A debuting NXT alumna who picked up a win in Eva's stead tied with a Prizefighter who's barely putting up with an old man and his $750 scarf for the last position in our weekly ten.

Try to pick you favorites from among the shows put on by New Japan, Raw, Smackdown,NXT, CWC, EVOLVE, Ring of Honor and Impact - or whatever other action you managed to stream onto one of your screens - and then share them with the class.
See you next Sunday.
